Bread & Omlette, that cost him his job...
The training this time has come to an end, but not before a sad incident..
Any outstations visit means Royal treatment & good food... With these expectations we reached the guesthouse...
When we landed we were asked to share the rooms with 3 members.. that put the total to 9 for 3 rooms with only 6 beds..
Not a good start... No tea was served.. Breakfast was bread,Jam & Omlettes & Juice.. as against a platter of fruits and atleast 2 south india breakfast dishes..
Later we were told that as there is a party at the guest house that night there would be no lunch...
The dinner was not upto the mark.. and we really had to stand in demand to get our dinner...
Our guest house cook/maintenece is outsourced.. in such a way that every serving he charges us.. and the more no of people he cooks for he makes that much more profit... and hence his major concentration was on the party of 45 people...
The next day's (Today) also was no different as our man had slept at 3 am in the morning.
When our training organiser asked us about the stay at guest house.. he was in shock & matter was escalated...
When casually checking at the hr on tickets i heard some screaming from the admin cabin... it was out admin.. the lady was on top of her voice on our guesthouse care-taker...
Later i learnt from the organiser that the care-taker was fired...
i Clarified it to him that we meant add more people there & not fire him.. he later mentioned that this was not that the admin decided that he be fired & she was protecting from feb this year...
Feel a little bad about the whole thing.. I don't know whether what we did was right or wrong... we never ever wanted the man out.
